What causes a bamboo plant to yellow?
Can you answer Tas's question about Bamboo?:
I have an indoor bamboo plant that's turning yellow. It's over one years old, and is planted in a glass vase. Is there anything I can do to fix this?
The plant is in water and the "stalk" is turning yellow. But, the leaves are still green.

Is it really 'planted'? Or is it growing in water?
Which ever the case may be the leaves that have turned yellow will not return to being green.
If it is planted in a glass vase I think it could be time to replant. Or the problem could be over watering.
Try running a leaf through two fingers…so that you are stroking the top and the bottom of it. If it feels gritty, you have spider mites. They are a nasty little nuisance, but you can get rid of them easily. Simply spray you plant with a solution of 1 part rubbing alcohol to 10 parts water. Be certain to spray under the leaves as that is where bugs like to hide.
