How do you Plant a lucky bamboo with a betta fish?

Can you answer stacey n's question about Bamboo?:

I want to buy a glass vase type thing and have a betta fish with a lucky bamboo in it? Pictures would be helpful but not sre how to do it! Thanks :)

Just stick it in the top and have half of the bamboo sticking out the top. Also, if you got one of those kits that tells you not to feed it or do water changes, don't listen to it. You need to feed the betta food made for bettas and do water changes once a month. Good luck.=)

I'm not sure how to do that but please, if you are getting a vase thing, try to get it to be at least 1 gallon for the bettas sake. I really don't recommend bowls for bettas even though they survive in them but if you are then at least get the betta 1 gallon.

bettas need atleast 2.5 gallons and they need heated filtered water you also need to feed it betta food

if you can offer this setup then its fine

also the surface area of the vace should atleast be 10cm by 10cm

since bambo floats u should use some heavy object to hold it down such as lead
give the betta some room
maybe a gallon of extra space for it to enjoy its home
