I have heard bamboo is very invasive. What is the best way to contain its roots?

Answered By Belinda Aldworth, Editor

One of the best ways to contain bamboo roots is to put the grass in a pot. When the bamboo is planted on the ground, you may contain its roots by putting a yard-like barrier around the plant. If in case you can now see shoots coming out from the outside of the improvised container, you can eliminate them by cutting the grass on its roots.
