Why is bamboo flooring expensive?

Answered By Belinda Aldworth, Editor

The high price of bamboo flooring may be blamed on how it was made. The process that bamboo passes through is so intensive that it has to be cut in rectangle and pass a shaper. It must also be kiln-dried in order for it not to sink even when time goes. A bamboo tile is laminated with special glue for it to be protected from any damage that can be inflicted.
